Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively and more dressed as THESE childhood characters for New Year's

This New Year's Eve was a night of epic celebrations. While people dressed in their best and made the most of the party season, Taylor Swift took it a notch higher (as usual). This time, she took home the prize for the party of the year with her theme party - Childhood Heroes.

The singer gathered her closest friends - Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively and childhood friend Abigail Anderson for the party which saw them all dressed up as their favourite characters. While Hadid dressed as Mary Poppins, Lively picked Dorothy, Anderson dressed in her best Posh Spice outfit, Iris Apatow dressed as Cinderella and Ashley Avignone as Gwen. Swift decided to dress as Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

They all dressed their part. Swift donned a long red wig, a mermaid tail and carried a small red crab bag. She topped it off with her classic red lips to look the part.
Hadid sported a cool black pantsuit, a black hat and even a cute walking stick. Lively sported a pretty pastel powder blue dress to channel her inner Dorothy.

Blake's husband - Ryn Reynolds was also in attendance. Taylor Swift's main crew member - Selena Gomez was missing from the party though. But this could be since she is recovering after her emotional breakdown.

Taylor had much to celebrate. Her concert film Reputation, also released on Netflix on the last day of the year. The film is a treat for fans all over the world who could not make it to any of her concerts.
