Taylor Swift debuts an UNEXPECTED hair colour in her new music video leaving us surprised
Instead of her buttery blonde curls, the singer has experimented with bright pink and teal hair. Do you like it?
“I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, 'cause she's dead”. Yes, we have had these lyrics stuck in our heads for quite a while now. Why you may ask? Because, Taylor Swift has become fully revamped from her old self. The pop singer is no longer known for her buttery blonde curls and classic red lipstick.
But, these aren't the only beauty changes Swift is making ahead of her seventh album release, Lover. She just released the music video for her new song "You Need to Calm Down," and it's full of unexpected bursts of pastel. Some of it also includes the hair and makeup looks we never thought we'd ever see on Swift.
For starters, Swift is seen ditching her red lipstick for a bright fuschia colour. As an addition to that, wild waves with dip-dyed pink hair has somehow become her new style. Not just that, Tayor has also added teal to her hair expanding her colour pallette.
Before the video was released, the singer sent Swifties into a full freakout mode by teasing her 118 million Instagram followers with the song's single art which was a photo of her in a hot pink bikini with a back tattoo of a snake that transforms into a cluster of butterflies.
This new Taylor Swift era isn't all pastel hearts and sparkly butterflies and by the looks of it, this is only going upwards! What do you think about her new avatar? Let us know in the comments section below.
