Target just dropped its new logo and has left us all confused
The new womenwear line will have versatile mix and match pieces.
American brand Target is known for its famous red shining bullseye logo. However, the brand just dropped its new logo and has left everyone confused. Target is starting off its new womenswear line and the logo is to brand that. As soon as the brand dropped the logo, social media went berserk, contemplating and figuring out what the logo actually means.
Senior Editor of Racked, Alanna Okun said in a tweet that the logo was, “a confusingly designed logo that it took me 4-5 target trips to realize it didn't say 'and away!' Fellow editor of Racked also said, “Just put your letters in any dang order and make the people guess, why not," and "I am so annoyed by this because it would have only taken some small changes to make this name and logo comprehensible." Twitteratis were quick to pick that up and started decoding the meaning of this confusing logo.

The new womenswear line, A New Day, will include and feature, “versatile mix and match” pieces. The brand will majorly be focusing on equality and the site explains, “Each pair [of side-zip skinny ankle pants] is crafted with a special fabric that stretches both vertically and horizontally and a higher, hold-you-in rise to flatter every figure — and keep you feeling comfortable all day long. We've reinforced the seams, too, so these pants are super-durable. And because finding the perfect length to pair with flats, heels, and booties is tricky, we've used a versatile ankle-cut length." The line will include 1700 styles which will be worn by models of all sizes.
Well, we surely cannot wait.
