Sonam Kapoor in Ralph and Russo Couture : Yay or Nay?
Sonam Kapoor looked pretty in pink at the Filmfare Awards 2019. She wore a gown by Ralph and Russo.
'Veere Di Wedding' actress Sonam Kapoor was one of the many celebrities who were in attendance at the Filmfare Awards 2019, which were held in Mumbai earlier tonight. 2018 was a great year for Sonam as her two film 'Veere Di Wedding' and 'Sanju' did really well at the box office. The actress is currently in work mode as she shoots for her next film 'The Zoya Factor', which is an official adaptation of a book by the same name.
For the Filmfare Awards red carpet, Sonam chose to wear a look from her close friends Ralph and Russo's Spring 2019 Haute Couture collection. The hot pink strapless gown with a mermaid silhouette had a tiered hem detail and a ruffle detail at the back. Sonam changed the look a bit from the runway as she added dramatic sleeves to the look, which I personally feel could have been avoided. The look was styled with her hair worn in a sleek back bun, diamond stud earrings and a nude lip.
Pink is a colour that is really hot right now. There were like half a dozen pink look on the Oscars red carpet and the trend is continuing. I do like this look on Sonam but the red carpet images didn't do justice to the gown. It is a lot of pink and to Sonam's credit, she did make it work.
