Sonam Kapoor in Envelope 1976 and Anamika Khanna : Yay or Nay?

Sonam Kapoor was a part of the big fashion night which held in Doha, Qatar yesterday. She was there for the launch of a art and fashion museum and for a gala dinner hosted for Doha Fashion Trust Arabia. Sonam sure knows how to bring it everytime and even though her fashion choices can be quite polarizing at times, there's no denying that she keeps it 100% fresh and experimental. And what is fashion, if it's not fun and fabulous.

Before attending the Gala dinner, Sonam was in attendance at a press conference where the big wigs of the fashion industry came to talk about fashion and talent for the Fashion Arabia trust. She looked chic in a layered look from Envelope 1976. The look had a lot of pieces together, with a pair of pants, a waist coat, a skirt and an oversized blazer, but because it was all monotone, it all worked. Her look was styled with a pair of Lennon glasses and hair worn in a bun with pins from a sustainable fashion brand called Satat.

For the Gala dinner, she decided to bring a Indian flavour to the red carpet. You know Sonam loves to push for Indian looks on International red carpets and she once again wore an Anamika Khanna saree look. Her pink embroidered saree was teamed with a matching jacket. What really made the look Sonam was her matha patti and earrings from Sunita Kapoor.

I know some of you might feel that the jewellery was a little overkill and I would agree had the event been somewhere else. But she was in Doha for a fashion trust event, so you better bring the fashion. She looked like an Indian princess and I can only imagine how many people must have come up to her and asked her about her look.
