Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan: Summer style reinvented

Summer is here and as we are packing our bags for our beach vacations; our Bollywood celebrities advise us on how to dress this summer. The first word that comes to our mind when we say Summer style are florals, but not this time. Celebs have parted ways with florals and are trying out something different and it’s time we take inspiration from their style and rock this heat.

Oldie but a goldie; The pastels

The pastels are best friends with the summer. Colours such as powder pink, lemon yellow, light blue not only make you shine in this heat but will also make you feel light and cope with the hot waves. Take inspiration from Kangana Ranaut as she rocked the airport look in a light teal colour sleeveless satin blouse which had a high neck and a knot with white flared bottoms. She added the fur coat as she sported the look, but you can skip that if you are stepping out in the city. Brown bag, black sunglasses and grey boots rounded off her look.

Alia Bhatt looks elegant in the beautiful lemon-yellow dress by Manish Malhotra she donned for a wedding. Minimal make up and jewellery complemented her heavily embroidered dress as she twirled in it. Alia Bhatt’s look is the way to rock any summer destination wedding.

Colour Blocking the right way

Colour blocking can be a bit tricky but can make you look flawless. Colour block with pastels or take a light colour and pair it with a darker shade. Kriti Sanon looks charming in the tucked in light blue shirt and a yellow midi pleated skirt. A messy ponytail, big hoops and black heels finished off her summer look.

All white is the way to go

Take cues from the diva Malaika Arora Khan in this really chic all-white ensemble where she looks easy breezy. The 3/4^th sleeve and floor length dress was paired with a contrast bright orange neckpiece breaking the monotony of the dress. The classic Guccy bag, nude heels, a neat ponytail and a bright lip rounded off her look.

Yellow-mellow

Kareena Kapoor Khan never fails to impress us be it one of her casual outings or her well-known gym looks. Here she is seen with her son Taimur Ali Khan in a beautiful outfit by House of Masaba. The ensemble consisted of an ochre embroidered slip dress with a slit that she paired with a matching cape jacket from House of Masaba too.

The chic checks look

Checks look classy yet effortless when paired properly and can give you the runway ready look. Take cues from Deepika Padukone as she sported a checkered tracksuit with statement sunglasses and white sporty shoes that rounded off her airport look.

You can go basic yet bold in a statement shirt like Sanya Malhotra. The white checkerd oversized shirt with loose sleeves, messily tied hair and a pair of high-waist jeans are perfect for a summer stylish look.

Separates are here to save you

Separates are an easy way to make you look stylish in the same print outfit. You can opt for an easy colour like Kriti Sanon with black heels and a black waist pouch bag or go with all black as Sonam Kapoor does in the black airy separates which she paired with a Black jacket and matrix sunglasses. Separates need minimal styling as there’s already a lot going on in the outfit and are great on the days when you want to dress minimally without putting much thought into it.
