Sonam Kapoor - Anand Ahuja wedding: Looks that make us believe that the actor will make for a stunning bride

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are all set to tie the knot on May 8th and we couldn’t have been happier as the two make for a stunning pair. The wedding festivities kick started last evening with the mehendi function. The gorgeous bride-to-be donned an ensemble by Anuradha Vakil and colour co-ordinated with her better half, Anand Ahuja.

Sonam Kapoor is that one actress who single handedly brought in momentum and character to fashion in India. Not only people became more aware and enlightened with the whole concept of fashion, but they also started carrying out the latest styles trending globally. The actress who is all set to become a stunning bride will be wearing custom Anamika Khanna for her big day. Kapoor, has always experimented and has served us unique and unusual looks. However, we completely dig her traditional looks. Her look was accessorised with a heavy neckpiece and matching dangling earrings, mojris and hair tied up in a bun with flowers.

For their annual Diwali bash, Kapoor played the perfect host in her festive ensemble. Continuing her fashion love affair with design duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, she wore a heavily embroidered lehenga look in shades of blue and pink. The look was styled with a gold choker and maang tikka from her mom Sunita Kapoor's collection, winged eyeliner and hair worn in a bun with flowers.

Her vintage inspired look was styled with a bright red lip, Sunita Kapoor earrings and a matching bag. Soft updo and Jimmy Choo 'Lance' sandals is how she signed off her look.

For a wedding, she did a pretty floral lace saree by Sabyasachi that she styled with a traditional updo completed with flowers, a pair of statement earrings and a potli bag.

Sonam Kapoor chose to wear one of her favorite designers Anuradha Vakil for Shahid and Mira Kapoor’s wedding reception. Her gorgeous jewel tone ensemble was styled with a potli, stunning choker and earrings. Pretty!

Sonam attended the trailer launch of movie, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The actress looked gorgeous in a beige and gold ensemble that she styled with earrings and a maang tikka by mom Sunita Kapoor and a ring by Anmol. The red lip provided a punch of much needed color and she finished her look out with gold mojris from Needle Dust and a chic updo.

Sonam attended the Indian Bridal Fashion Week where she was the guest of honour. Sonam, chose to wear a Narendra saree. She looked elegant in an off white embroidered border saree that she paired with a red long sleeve blouse. Sunita Kapoor earrings, a red lip, winged eyes and an updo rounded her look out. No complaints; she was perfection in this traditional look.

The bride to be went on the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil. She opted for a drool worthy Anju Modi lehenga from her couture collection. The pale blue choli with block print and gold embroidery paired with hot pink skirt looked great on her.  Matching dupatta draped over her shoulder, fringe earrings and maang tika from Anmol Jewellers were the perfect finishing touches for the look. Love the simple bun and the winged eye.

We absolutely love the beauty here! Kapoor for one of the promotional events for her movie Khoobsurat donned a very festive and colorful Anita Dongre ensemble. The hot pink bandhini print and gold embroidered jacket and lehenga set looked great on her. She styled the look with a swirl detail updo, paisley earrings by her mom Sunita Kapoor and winged eyes.

Sonam Kapoor attended the 67th Cannes International Film Festival. She chose an Anamika Khanna couture sari with a twist. She also sported a Sunita Kapoor choker necklace and completed the look with Jimmy Choo shoes and a Ferragamo clutch.
