Sonam Kapoor - Anand Ahuja’s Wedding: Who Wore What at the actor’s Mehendi’s function

It’s finally happening!! Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding festivities have kick started and the mehendi affair was quite a star studded one. As reported earlier, that white was the dress code for the function. Sonam’s friends and family members tried following the dress code of white traditional wear which was mentioned in the invitation cards. The mehendi function took place at Anil Kapoor’s bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai. The bride to be along with her better half Anand Ahuja made for an adorable couple in colour coordinating outfits. The much-in-love couple danced their heart’s out with their close families and friends, however, the highlight was the couple’s romantic dance. The event was surely star studded and listed below is a list of who-wore-what at the mehendi function.

Sonam Kapoor in Anuradha Vakil

Sonam looked radiant in a pink, dark grey and ivory Anuradha Vakil lehenga. The outfit had a heavy booti work and scallop embellishments on it. Centre parted hair with drop earrings, filled in eyebrows and a no makeup makeup look finished off her look.

Janhvi Kapoor in Manish Malhotra

The lovely Janhvi Kapoor was snapped wearing a white embellished lehenga set by Manish Malhotra, which was paired with a matching thread embroidered dupatta. The only pop of color to her look came via the red piping detail and she styled her look with big earrings and unkempt curls.There's no denying she looked pretty, but I wish she had done a look which a little more youthful. The color and the long top made the look a little too mature for her.

Khushi Kapoor in Manish Malhotra

The pretty Khushi Kapoor opted for a high neck, three-fourth sleeves deep blue blouse teamed with a high waisted deep blue lehenga skirt with heavy embroidery on it. Matching ombre dupatta with sleek hair, filled in brows and pink undertone makeup rounded off her look.

Rhea Kapoor in Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla

Sonam’s baby sister Rhea Kapoor looked over the moon happy at Sonam’s mehendi function. Rhea Kapoor opted for Abu Jani - Sandeep Khosla creation. The outfit had a free flowing silhouette with a simple golden border on it. Chunky danglers with side parted open hair, no makeup makeup look and filled in brows finished off her look.  

Arjun Kapoor in Kunal Rawal

Arjun Kapoor was surely in an upbeat mood. The actor wore an orange-red kurta with star prints on it by Kunal Rawal. The actor sported a classy and contemporary look which looked really dapper put together. Kapoor even took to Instagram and posted a photo of his captioning it #IsItRedOrOrange

Karan Johar all white

The favourite of Bollywood, Karan Johar, was present at the mehendi function too. He wore a high neck outfit with bishop sleeves and brooch pinned on. The star film-maker kept his half smile on as he posed with his gang.

The first function itself has got us all excited and we cannot wait to see what the other wedding functions have in store for us.
