Selena Gomez is now a swimwear designer and is all set to launch a collection inspired by her scars

One of the most followed celebrities on Instagram, Selena Gomez now donned multiple hats. Not only is she a singer, actor and producer but the star has now turned designer! Gomez has teamed up with her friend and former assistant Theresa Marie Mingus to create new designer for the latter's swimwear line - Krahs (Shark spelt backwards). 

One of the bikinis is even called the "Selena" which is a bikini with a high-waisted bottoms and bra-style top. Another one is a zip-up suit in a bright and sporty shade of red. The swimsuits are absolute classics but the best part, is that they have a story behind them - one that is close to Selena's journey. She eve shot a video which explains the suit's design and went on to reveal that it was inspired by her scar from her kidney transplant. 

"I've had a kidney transplant and I like bathing suits that kind of cover where that's been and make me feel comfortable," she said about the suit with high-waisted bottoms and full coverage suit. 

The line will have suits ranging from sizes XS to XXL. Gomez even took to her Instagram to post a picture of herself in the Selena top and gave a shoutout to Theresa as well! "She has taught me how to see life in a fun, carefree and uplifting way. She has shown me how to be a strong and fearless woman, She is kind, smart and beautiful... I love you and I am so proud of you."

Summer is here and we are super pumped to hit the beach in Selena's bikinis!
