Sabyasachi gets TROLLED as Rani Mukerji wears the SAME outfit by the designer as Ranveer Singh

Today, celebrities outfits and fashion choices are constantly scrutinised and open in the public eye for criticism. It is quite common for celebrities to take inspiration from each other and wear eerily similar outfits as each other, giving us the perfect occasion to decode looks and talk about who wore it better. 

When Ranveer Singh headed to Amritsar to get blessings from the Golden Temple with wife Deepika Padukone on their first wedding anniversary, the couple opted for outfits by Sabyasachi. While Deepika picked out a simple maroon salwar suit, Ranveer picked out a rose taupe colour kurta and pajama set that he teamed up with a floral Nehru jacket, also by the designer. He looked absolutely dapper and handsome as ever in the outfit, showing us that he can pull off both Indian and Western outfits. 

But what many didn't expect, is actress Rani Mukerji to sport the same outfit on a different occasion. For the promotions of her film Mardaani 2, Mukerji picked out the same Sabyasachi set that Singh picked out and styled it with an organza dupatta and gold Kolhapuri slippers. She rocked the outfit and looked pretty in it with perfect makeup to complete her look. 

Sabyasachi took to his Instagram to share pictures of both the celebrities in his creations. But what nobody expected was the trolling that came along with it. The designer's comment section was flooded with users comparing both the actor's looks. Comments like "Sabyasachi SB ko ek jeasadikhta hai," and "Wasn't @ranveersingh wearing the same outfit? Sharing is caring," flooded the comment section of the picture that the designer uploaded of Mukerji in his creation. 

The designer is known to have a thick relationship with both the actors. He has been dressing up Rani Mukerji for years and the duo are close friends. He also styled Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh for their wedding. We thought both the actors carried off the outfit well and can't pick a favourite. What do you think?
