Sabyasachi to design white wedding gowns and it’s like a dream come true

Sabyasachi is that one designer who is known for his impeccable bridal wear. The NIFT graduate is especially known for sewing tradition with Indian handicrafts and also for his love for romantic, heavily embellished bridal lehengas. While the designer was always known for his work, he gained major recognition when he designed Anushka Sharma’s bridal trousseau when she wed her long-time boyfriend and the captain of the Indian Cricket Team, Virat Kohli. Well, for everyone who is obsessed with the talented designer, Sabyasachi is diving into the world of white bridal gowns, his first ever international wedding line.

Yes, this exquisite line  will be exclusively available through high end retailer- Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. He dropped glimpses of his collection on his Instagram page and boy, they looked breathtakingly beautiful. The creations made in intricate lace features delicate applique and bead work, gorgeous trains and weightless volume in soft colours. The collection features almost everything, from an elaborate larger than life train to a body-hugging ivory skirt and jacket combination, every piece from Sabya will leave you breathless. The 45 piece collection will be created in fabrics like tea dyed muslin, embroidered tulle and fine brocades.  

Sabyasachi Mukherjee always makes it a point to make every bride look like a dream and with the glimpses that we have seen we couldn’t agree more. In the past he has dressed actress like Bipasha Basu, Soha Ali Khan on their their D-day. Infact,superstar Deepika Padukone has openly confessed that she wants to be a Sabyasachi bride.
