Rihanna reveals that 'body fluctuations' influenced her latest Fenty collection
Rihanna's Fenty collection is stirring up a storm in the fashion and beauty world. The singer finally reveals the inspiration behind her line.
Grammy winning singer and songwriter Rihanna recenrly launched the part 2 of her collection. She made a surprise appearance at Fenty's pop-up shop in New York City on Tuesday and talked about her latest collection and the inspiration behind it.
Her brand revolved hugely around inclusion. Her makeup feature a range of products that adhere to every skin tone and her clothes are inclusive to different body types. "Whether it is through fashion, lingerie music, makeup... we try to get everybody involved and included in our brand," she said. The musician turned designer has also been very open about her "body fluctuations" over the years which is why she paid particular importance to inclusivity.

Rihanna mentioned that once the clothes are produced, she is eager to see what it looks like on her body. "I want to see it on my body, I want to see it on a curvy girl with thighs and a little bit of booty and hips. And now I have boobs that I never had before...you know, I don't even know how to sleep sometimes, it's challenging so imagine getting dressed," she told E News.
She went on to explain that she takes all of these things into consideration "because I want women to feel confident in my stuff."
Rihanna is the first black woman to have partnered with LVMH to create her own luxury clothing line which caters to women of different sizes and different body types.
