The actress who is going all out for the promotions of her upcoming film Mardaani 2. picked out a subtle number by her favourite designer for the occasion.

Rani Mukerji in Sabyasachi: Yay or Nay?

Rani Mukerji has been off the grid for a long time. But she is back with a bang! The actress is all set for the release of her upcoming film Mardaani 2 for which she has begun her round of promotions. The film is the sequel to the film that was released with the same name a few years ago.

For the promotions of her film, the actress has been decking up in some of the most elegant and stunning pieces. Her second look, was an outfit by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The rose taupe shade kurta set bore lovely floral printed work on it and matching pajamas. A simple organza dupatta with a gold border completed her look.

She opted for bright gold kohlapuri slippers to keep her look simple and styled her hair in a half-up manner. Subtle smokey eyes, filled-in brows and a neutral lip ensured she looked like a desi wonder in the outfit.

While we thought Mukerji looked absolutely stunning in the outfit. But she wasn't the only person who wore it! Ranveer Singh also wore the same kurta set as he made his way to Amritsar to seek blessings on his first wedding anniversary with Deepika Padukone.

But that's not all! Mukerji picked out yet another Sabya number in the form of a pristine white saree with floral embroidery in white and a detailed hem, for yet another promotional look. She accessorised her look with a statement neckpiece also by the designer. While her hair was pulled back into a sleek bun, and accessorised with a white headpiece, her dark gothic makeup including smokey eyes and a deep red lip completed her look.
