The 2019 Billboard Music Awards were held in LA last night and Priyanka Chopra accompanied her husband Nick Jonas to the event. The year has already started on a big high for Nick as the Jonas Brothers' song 'Sucker' hit number 1 on the music charts. Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra was also a part of the song's music video, where she wore some amazing couture and fun head pieces. The awesome trio of the Jonas Brothers also performed at the awards last night. The husband - wife hit the red carpet last night and looked adorable together.
Priyanka Chopra walked the red carpet wearing a gown from Zuhair Murad's spring 2019 collection. Her gown was a heavily beaded figure hugging gown, which is very well what Zuhair Murad's aesthetic is. The gown had a plunging neckline and also had a thigh high slit. The long sleeve, faux wrap gown looked really pretty on her and she filled out the dress well. To make the look more modest, she decked her neck with layered necklaces and styled the look with a pair of clear, PVC ankle straps. Minimal make up and hair worn in side swept soft curls.
I do like the dress on her, but I wasn't sure on whether I liked the pearl necklace. I feel like the impact of the dress and the whole look would have been more had she kept the look minimal. I understand where she was going with the pearl necklace, but didn't work for me. However, it's still a stunning look on her.
