Priyanka Chopra to Janhvi Kapoor: Bollywood is OBSESSED with the pink pantsuit & you should own one too

The lines between men’s fashion and women’s fashion is definitely blurring. Gone are the days when women were told what they’re allowed and not allowed to wear. Pantsuits for the longest time was only restricted as clothing fit for men. It embodied and symbolised power and authority. Well, the major credit for this idea hands-down goes to the great, Yves Saint Laurent. The late designer was the first person to put women in pantsuits, breaking all the myths and stereotypes. Since then there has been no looking back. So much so, that women are giving men a run for their money when it comes to dressing up and experimenting with style. 

Bollywood in the past decade has cemented its position when it comes to being the fashion flagbearer. It is safe to say that they bridge the gap between runway fashion and high street styles. In the wake of the trickle down process, almost every Bollywood diva has been bowled over by the pantsuit. Not only does it look super confident and chic, it also gives out the major, “I mean business” vibe. Not just that, our women clan are nowhere leaving their pink power behind. If there is one person who truly deserves the ‘Boss Lady’ title then it has to be Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The beauty opted for a loose fitted pastel pink silk pantsuit which she styled with minimal makeup, a light glossy lip and a messy hairdo. 

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt opted for a darker hue of pink. The diva’s look featured an off-shoulder double breasted fitted blazer with flared pants. A sleek open hairdo with a no makeup makeup look completed her look out. 

Sonam K Ahuja

Sonam K Ahuja is next on our list. The stunner opted for a pink Fenty pantsuit which she styled with sneakers, a messy hairdo, nude lips and a fanny pack. 

Janhvi Kapoor

The young actress also falls on this list. Janhvi for an event opted for a soft pink flared pantsuit similar to that of Alia’s. Her pantsuit featured a plunging neckline, hair left open in cascading curls and soft pink lips. 

Kangana Ranaut

The bold and beautiful Kangana Ranaut is next on our list. The Judgementall Hai Kya actress took the pantsuit look and made it her airport look. She styled her single breasted blazer with a white round neck t-shirt, a cross body Gucci bag, white sneakers and a messy hairdo. 

Jacqueline Fernandes

Jacqueline Fernandes is the latest entrant on this list. The starlet opted for a lilac hued silk flared pantsuit. She styled her look with a retro hairstyle, chunky golden neckpiece, smokey eyes and a pink nude lip.
