Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Engagement: Will the actress wear this designer for her big day?

The word is out, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are reportedly throwing an engagement bash tomorrow in Mumbai and fans cannot contain their excitement. The two lovebirds apparently got engaged last month on her birthday in London. The couple decided to take their relationship a step further after dating for over three months. Nick, along with his family, arrived in the country last night, fuelling the speculations all the more.

While there’s a lot of buzz going around this East meets West union, we can’t help but wonder who will our diva be wearing? Chopra is one of the few actresses who has always experimented with her looks and style. Be it a saree, a pantsuit, a dress or even pyjamas, our desi girl is on top of it all. Priyanka has always flaunted the saree and has openly admitted that she absolutely loves the six-yard of drape. Is that a cue that we’ll be seeing PeeCee in a saree? If sources are to be believed then Nickyanka (as the couple is fondly nicknamed) will be having a complete Indian traditional ceremony and if that is true, then we can see Priyanka twirling in a lehenga. It was this very party where we got a glimpse of her engagement ring too. Priyanka has often worn the designer’s creation and we might just see her in a custom-made Manish Malhotra ensemble.

Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla

In our opinion, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla have a pretty great shot. It is because when Chopra attended the Ambani bash walking hand-in-hand with her man, she was wearing an Abu Sandeep. The design duo is known to have created special ensembles for many Bollywood beauties. Sonam K Ahuja wore their creation at her Mehendi party.

Sabyasachi

Sabyasachi seems to be the pick of every Bollywood bride of late. From Anushka Sharma to Bipasha Basu to Soha Ali Khan, everyone has opted for this talented designer. If rumours are to be believed then Deepika Padukone for her big day will also be wearing a Sabya creation. We know how thick DP and PC are, so it won’t be surprising if we see Chopra follow Deepika’s footsteps and don a Sabyasachi outfit.

The diva’s love for saree is quite visible and we have often seen her wearing sarees from her own collection. It will be extremely heartwarming to see if she picks a pass-down saree which will hold major emotional value as well. Recently at Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding reception we had seen her wear a traditional silk saree from her personal collection.
