Mumbai based fashion designer arrested for raping his two minor daughters
The father of four has been sexually abusing his two minor daughters aged 17 and 13 for the last two years
A horrific incident has come to light and something that’ll easily send chills down your spine. A 42 year old Mumbai based fashion designer has been arrested for raping his two minor daughters continuously for over two years. The minor daughters were aged 17 and 13.
According to statements from one of the minor, a class 11th student; when the girls refused to give in, the father threatened to kick them out of the house and also stop funding their education. The girls finally confided in their mother who confronted the accused. The fashion designer then abused his wife and the minor upon confrontation. Post this they filed for an FIR against him.
The minor in a statement made to the police also added that she did not remember the exact date when her father started abusing her two years ago. The 17 year old survivor has two younger sisters aged 13 and 10 and a 3 year old brother. The survivor also stated that she did not know what was happening and upon questioning her father, he threatened to kill her baby brother if she told anyone about his crime.
The eldest daughter’s abuse went on for several months. Last year in November when the two minors were watching television in the upper section of their house; her father started sexually abusing the 13 year old, the minor started screaming and her elder sister came to stop her father to which he sexually abused her too. The 17 year old also stated that her father threatened her that he would send her mother and herself to work in hotels and make money by having sexual encounters with other men.
The accused has been arrested under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and Pocso Act. The minors have been moved to a shelter home.
