The First Lady of USA, Melania Trump has been facing a lot of flak, courtesy, her Zara jacket. On June 21st, Melania, was seen at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland when she was on her way to visit the detained immigrant children. She wore an olive green jacket which had the words, “I Really Don’t are, Do U? written on the back which created quite a social media stir.

Ever since Mrs. Trump’s pictures have come out, everyone across the globe is calling her out for her insensitive choice of outfit. Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput also expressed her anger. She took to Instagram to and shared an Insta story where she posted a picture of Melania wearing the $39 jacket and captioned it “Seriously?”.

Twitter seems to have exploded too with hashtags like, #IReallyDoCare and #MelaniDontCare trending big on the social media website. The controversy spread like wildfire and Melania’s spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham tweeted a justification which read, “Today’s visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly. If media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids - rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe - we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children. #SheCares #ItsJustAJacket

President of the United States of America, Donald Trump also commented on the issue and took to Twitter to express his views, he tweeted, “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?” written on the back of Melania’s jacket, refers to the Fake News Media. Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!”

Melania Trump in the past too has created a lot of fashion blunders with her inappropriate outfit choices. The First Lady wore stilettos when she had gone to visit the victims of Hurricane Harvey; who had been displaced from their families. She has also been receiving a lot of fire as she is mostly seen wearing European designers contradicting with her husband, Donald Trump’ tagline, “Make America Great Again”.
