Masaba Gupta’s Spring Summer’ 18 collection is avant-garde, modern and super stylish

The Queen of quirk prints, Masaba Gupta is back with another enthralling collection, named, “Tiger Lily”. The title of her collection instantly manages to grab almost everyone's attention and causes a lot of inquisitiveness. Masaba, from the inception of her brand, has molded and created a new world of style for the modern woman and rightly so, her new collection reflects just that.

Tiger Lily is a reflection of a modern ‘today’ woman. The collection majorly caters to the headstrong, busy, stylish, avant-garde and modern women. The ready-to-wear collection is a happy gift for women this summers. Crushed cotton, linen mul, chanderi, the kinds of lightweight, breezy and soft fabrics are used heavily in the collection.

The collection comprises everything, from wrap and floaty shirts to billowy sleeve tops to tunics to maxi dresses to printed kaftans. The pret line has a lot of easy silhouettes to offer which will be a major reliever and breather this summer with the style quotient on point. Be it prints or minimalism, the line smoothly moves and caters to a wide spectrum of the target audience. The colour palette ranges from being elite and rich to fun and feminine. The colours include- Warm beiges, rich olives, mustards, hot reds and cherry pinks.

We got an insight to some of the pieces from the pret line. Masaba’s love for prints is surely undying. Offlshoudered full sleeves blouse and a beautiful geometric and floral printed multi-coloured saree was one star piece from the collection. Flowy silhouettes with multi-printed monochrome sarees, high necks, captioned pants and t-shirts comprises off this summer essential wardrobe.
