Fashion is really stepping forward and opening arms to divrse religions, shapes, colours and sizes. One of the many such moves made by the fashion fraternity is the London Modest Fashion Week that began in 2017. The event was created by London-based e-commerce fashion brand Haute Elan. London Modest Fashion Week is a two-day event during London Fashion Week which showcases modest fashion designers from around the world, the event also features promotion of halal makeup brands.

Lindsay Lohan was seen in attendance at the event as well where she was seen wearing a black hijab.

"Fashion doesn't always have to be so naked and can be adventurous and still beautiful with a strong group of women behind it," she told BBC Minute.

One of the Halal makeup brands posted a picture of Lohan holding a bag of their products" [Lohan] was so lovely and was saying how she's into halal cosmetics and what she's actually wearing on her face today was all halal," they captioned the picture.

Lindsay wearing Hijab further add fuel to the rumours of her converting to Islam that started back in 2015. Rumours were rife when she was photographed holding a copy of the Quran while in Turkey visiting refugee camps.

"They gave me the Quran and I brought it to New York because I was learning," she said. "It opened doors for me to experience spiritually, to find another true meaning. This is who I am." " I don't want to speak on something that I haven't finished yet," she further added.

In the same interview, Lohan claimed she had been "racially profiled" by security while wearing a headscarf at London's Heathrow Airport.
