Lady Gaga wore the ACTUAL Breakfast At Tiffany's neckpiece that Audrey Hepburn did, at the Oscars 2019

Lady Gaga made her Hollywood debut in the much acclaimed A Star is Born, alongside Bradley Cooper, earlier this year. The singer-songwriter turned actress also bagged an award for the Best Original Song at the awards ceremony which was held early this morning. She dressed the part and looked absolutely glamorous on the red carpet. She came dressed in a black gown and matching gloves, channelling her "old Hollywood" look.

Her black gown was a custom made Alexander McQueen which came with oversized hip pads and matching gloves! Her hair was pulled back into a bun and kept clear off her face that had minimal make-up. Sparkly eyeshadow and nude lips completed her glamorous look. The real star of her look though was her jewellery! The A Star Is Born actress wore a 128.54 carat Tiffany & Co diamond necklace stole the show. Called "The Tiffany Diamond", Lady Gaga is only the third person in history to wear this stunning neckpiece. Mrs Sheldon Whitehosue was the first to wear it at the Tiffany Ball back in 1957. The second was when Audrey Hepburn herself wore it in 1962 on one of the posters for her iconic film Breakfast At Tiffany's. Gaga is clearly taking the legacy of the Tiffany diamond forward!

According to sources, the brilliant stone was acquired by Charles Lewis Tiffany 1877 and now costs more than $30 million! The star at the red carpet was most definitely the one hanging from Gaga's neck!
