Karwa Chauth 2019: Anushka Sharma to Priyanka Chopra, check out all the looks of celebs who observed the fast

Karwa Chauth is one festival which in a lot of ways defines love and is a significant day in every married woman’s life. It is on this day when a woman keeps a ‘nirjala vrat’ i.e. fasting without food and water for the whole day until the moon comes out. With the tables turning, it is cute to see even men fasting for their beloved better halves. This year’s Karwa Chauth was indeed special as it marked a first for the newly weds Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas. 

One of our favourite couples, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma broke the internet when they posted their much in love photos together on Instagram. What's even more cute is that Virat fasted with Anushka the day giving us major couple goals. Our Bollywood divas like every year make it a point to fast on this special day and serve us some stunning looks clad in the “solah sringar”. Let’s take a look at what they wore. 

Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Priyanka Chopra Jonas clearly was on a high as the stunner celebrated her first ever Karwa Chauth. PeeCee donned a deep red saree with a broad sequin embroidered border. She paired it with a heavily floral embroidered golden and red blouse. Red bangles, poker open straight hair, minimal makeup and red bindi completed her Karwa Chauth look. 

Anushka Sharma 

Anushka Sharma is truly beauty defined. She donned a deep red floral saree by Sabyasachi with a thick sequin border and scattered sequin work on it. She styled her look with a low hair bun decorated with flowers, dewy no makeup makeup look, a small bindi, heavy chandbalis, sindoor and red choodas finished off her look. We love! 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too observed the fast. The former Miss World opted for a lime yellow anarkali with elaborate floral work and print on it. She styled her look with a matching dupatta, poker straight hair, dangler earrings and a red lip. 

Mira Rajput

The beautiful Mira Rajput too fasted for her superstar husband Shahid Kapoor. Mira donned a pink and orange bandhani saree and paired it with a pink blouse with a golden border on it. She styled her look with an intricate choker, teardrop earrings and brushed open hair. 

Shilpa Shetty Kundra

Shilpa Shetty Kundra too celebrated Karwa Chauth like every year. The beauty looked pretty in a red saree with frills on the hem and a broad golden embroidered border, She styled her look with a decorated half sleeve blouse, brushed open hair, filled in brows, black bindi and jhumkis. 

Raveena Tandon 

Raveena Tandon too geared up for this auspicious festival. The beauty looked gorgeous in a red ensemble by Anita Dongre with heavy intricate design in silver. She styled her anarkali with a matching red dupatta, sleek hairdo, heavy jhumkis and golden juttis. 

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya 

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya too painted a beautiful picture as she donned a stunning floor length red ensemble. Her outfit featured a heavily done yok with work done in gold followed by a tiered attached flowy skirt. She styled her look with a bouffant like ponytail, drop earrings, singoor and a red lip.
