One such trend that is ruling the Bollywood runway is the ‘Blazer’ trend. Blazers and formal suits have been associated with men for too long now. Be it at work or at a party blazers have been here for years now. So, what’s new? Our Bollywood divas have started utilizing this stylish piece to make their looks edgier. Women have empowered themselves and thus more the formal events they attend, formal clothing becomes important and thus the suits and blazers have slowly entering women’s wardrobes.

But not only to formal events our Bollywood divas have taken the blazers to the airporta, paired in with a t-shirt, a dress and in varied colours and we are loving it. Here are some of the Bollywood celebrities who have added their contributions to enhancement of this chic trend.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhat rocked this trend in a hot pink suit with a white top and transparent heels. We like how she let the colour steal the show and kept everything else minimal.

Twinkle Khanna 

Twinkle Khanna won our hearts in a pastel shade suit which had a blush pink blazer with lavender pants and a v-neck top. The floor length pants, minimal jewellery and loose hair rounded off her look.

Malaika Arora Khan

The super hot Malaika Arora Khan didn’t fail to impress us in her cool quote t-shirt and a black suit. The relaxed pants and the blazer over her shoulders with white sneakaers and oversized sunglasses rounded off her airport look.

Deepika Padukone

The risky taking Deepika Padukone went all white in the bell-bottom suit with a white satin top with lace. We like how the pants are high waist and the small detailings on the blazer just adds the glamour factor. A sleek ponytail and red lip rounded off her classy look.

Sonam Kapoor

Bollywood’s fashion diva Sonam Kapoor opted for a overall pink suit with a pink blazer, pink flared pants and a long same colour jacket. To break the monotony she wore plum boots with statement earrings and open hair.

Chopra wins us over in a beautiful off-white suit in a high-neck white top and blue reflective glasses, a bright lip and straight open hair. This look could go straight from a day out to a high-fashion event.

Athiya Shetty

Athiya Shetty looks pretty in a blue lace suit which she wore with a white lace top. The colour of the ensemble, the open voloumnious hair and minimal jewellery rounded of this unusual suit.
