Janhvi Kapoor trolled for sporting a plagiarised dress; gets called out by Diet Sabya
The Dhadak actress sported a shimmery sequined dress, with a short wig for a photoshoot with Cosmopolitan magazine. She got immensely trolled for this on social media.
Janhvi Kapoor has been through her fair share of controversies. From the time she debuted in Dhadak, the Marathi remake of Sairat, to her current cover with popular magazine Cosmopolitan, she causes a buzz everywhere she goes! Janhvi has become a fashion icon of sorts and is often applauded for her grace and poise both on and off red carpets. From her cool and casual gym wear to graceful and extravagant lehengas and sarees on the red carpet, the Kapoor girl seems to know her designers well and sports everything with an abundance of confidence.
What recently caused a stir though was her recent shoot with Cosmopolitan magazine. The actress tried out an edgier look by sporting a bob wig with a fringe. Though she managed to pull off the look and looked ultra chic in all the pictures, one of them - a blue sequined dress, was called out by popular fashion critic Diet Sabya. In a post, they posted a picture of Janhvi in the outfit by local fashion house - Purple Paisley, which looks like a clear copy of luxury designer Balmain's blue sequined dress from their 2018 collection.

Janhvi and the popular magazine got called out for plagiarism while the actress also got immensely trolled for her wig. The rip-off looks just the same and could even be passed off as the original, to those who didn't know better.
