Janhvi Kapoor in Atelier Zuhra : Yay or Nay?
Debutante Janhvi Kapoor attended the Zee Cine Awards tonight. She graced the red carpet wearing a red Atelier Zuhra gown
Janhvi Kapoor made her much awaited debut last year and has been in the limelight ever since. Not only she was praised for her performance but also the poise with which she and her sister, Khushi Kapoor have conducted themselves after the untimely death of their mother, Sridevi. Janhvi’s debut film was the remake of a super hit Marathi film, ‘Sairat’. The Hindi remake was titled ‘Dhadak’ and was produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. Along with Janhvi, Ishan Khattar also made her debut in the film.
The gorgeous actress was in attendance at the Zee Cine Awards, which were held in Mumbai earlier tonight. She was up to win the Best Actress - Debut award for her movie 'Dhadak'. For her red carpet appearance, the actress wore an all red look in a gown from Atelier Zuhra. Her strapless gown had a fitted bodice with mosaic mirror work, which is synonymous to Atelier Zuhra, as we have seen versions of it on Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.
Her fitted bodice ball gown opened into a full skirt that had scattered mirror work appliqué. The look was styled with a matching, hot red lip colour and she kept the rest of the styling simple by keeping her make up minimal and wearing her hair in a pulled back bun. We get where she was trying to go with her styling, but the sleek back bun didn't really work with the gown. Even though the gown was a lot, I wish she has worn her hair down in Hollywood style cascading curls.
