Jacqueline Fernandes channels her inner desi Barbie as she dresses up for the Diwali celebrations
The who’s who from Bollywood industry stepped out to celebrate Diwali looking their very best.
Diwali has to be the time when joy and happiness fills up the air. It is that time of the year when everyone’s in their best of spirits, spreading smiles, hogging on the best food and dressing up in their best desi wear. Bollywood is always known to celebrate every festival and occasion in its top most form. Last night, the who’s who from the Diwali bash stepped out looking their very best to celebrate the festival of lights.
The pretty and bubbly jacqueline Fernandes took to Instagram to share a picture of her. Jacqueline donned a pastel pink and silver sequin ensemble by Falguni and Shane Peacock. Her look included a short pink and silver lace sequin blouse featuring a sweetheart neckline and a bouffant 60s style 3/4th sleeves. She teamed her blouse with a matching flared tiered lace lehenga. Brushed open hair in cascading curls with a silver choker, maang-tika, filled in brows and pink lips completed her look.
The look screams of fairy tale and drama. While it would have been a little too much on another occasion but since it is Diwali and it is all about dressing up, we are all for it. The blouse sure does make a statement and we absolutely love it. On the other hand we'd have preferred had the lehenga been simple without any tier effect. The make up and hair work really well and we think it compliments the look too.
