Happy Birthday Miley Cyrus: The singer's red carpet style evolution from teenage sweetheart to glamorous diva

Ever since she was 11 years old, Miley Cryus has been walking red carpets, acting and singing. Hannah Montana was known for her blonde hair, cowboy boots, sparkly dresses and colourful leggings. Since then, she has gone through a huge wardrobe transformation as the actress walked multiple red carpets, starred in films and lent her voice to numerous roles.
She has since then been pushing the fashion envelope by experimenting with edgier and more risky looks and has been pushing boundaries ever since. Check out the 27-year-old's style transformation from the time she first walked the red carpet, till date.

At her first ever red carpet appearance, Miley donned a pair of denims, simple tee and a suit jacket while her hair was styled into lose curls and glossy lips finished off her look.

Keeping it simple but trendy, Cyrus picked out a sequin top and paired it with velvet pants, dazzling on the red carpet.

Once she grew up a little more, Miley's style changed too. She got into the boho trend and this multiple tiered ruffle dress could not be more appropriate to describe her style. Her caramel locks were styled into her usual beachy waves that made teens envious.

Miley also looked like the ultimate girl next door in a lovely simple floral dress and her slightly tangerine locks styled into glossy waves, making her the ultimate style icon of the time because of her simple, fuss-free and relatable style.

Post her Hannah Montana days, Miley wanted to break free of the image of the girl-next-door that followed her. She chopped her iconic long beachy waves and opted for a shorter hairdo and riskier outfits like this blazer dress with the top buttons left undone. Stacked up neckpieces and monochrome stilettos completed her look.

Trying to further break away, the actress opted for riskier choices. Her hair cropped short and bleached while she picked out a red-carpet worthy gown with risky cut outs at her waist.

Taking things a notch higher, Miley also opted for translucent materials to wear on the red carpet. She made statements by putting her under garments on display even on the red carpet!

Taking a turn for the better, Cyrus then took a glamorous turn by picking out classic outfits, growing out her hair and putting on a show when she walked the red carpet. This dual-toned outfit is the perfect example of it.

Taking the muted route, Cyrus then switched things up by incorporating more casual outfits into her looks. Case in point, this jumper and jeans with boots combination that is simple yet sophesticated.

Cyrus was never one to keep up with trends. But one trend even she could not avoid, is the lavish gowns on the red carpet. In the red over-the-top outfit, with loads of ruffles and a long train made for one of her best looks yet!

Bringing back the edge with her looks, Cyrus recently went for a head-to-toe black look with black leather pants, a simple shirt top off with a velvet black blazer. Her blonde locks were styled into crimped curls while layered neckpieces, statement sunglasses and a hat completed her look.
