Gigi Hadid walks down Tod’s runway carrying a puppy and fans are not happy
The Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 18 is currently underway
The Autumn/Winter 18 fashion week is creating quite a stir in the glamour industry for its out of the box thinking and creativity. After seeing a major uproar in New York and London Fashion Week, the Milan fashion week is surely not disappointing us. At Moschino, we saw supermodels Kaia Gerber, Gigi and Bella Hadid put forward their best Jackie Kennedy impressions in the ultra glam 60’s inspired evening wear. We also saw Gucci go down a rather weird route with models carrying their exact same head replicas instead of handbags.
To continue making statement fashion, Tod’s also took an unconventional route and had special guest appearances of live puppies. Gigi Hadid walked down the ramp with a French bulldog wearing a multi-layered look. However, not everyone was thrilled and happy to see this special edition on the ramp as Tod’s uses animal leather for their clothing. Many of them found it “uncomfortable” as the powerhouse brand used puppies as an accessory. Fans have been calling it bizzare for using puppies as accessories.
According to the Chinese zodiac calendar, it is officially the year of the dog and the fashion industry is embracing that in full swing. The Tod’s show that is called "Italian attitude" had supermodel, Gigi Hadid walk down the runway carrying a floppy-eared French bulldog. This was followed by a tiny chihuahua, a fluffy white terrier, and a King Charles spaniel.
