Is Gigi Hadid’s latest Vogue Italia cover a hint towards Meghan Markle? Find out

Supermodel Gigi Hadid is on her way to superstardom and there’s absolutely no denying that fact. Hadid however has landed herself in great trouble after she posted the cover of Vogue Italia on her Instagram account. Fans are extremely disappointed and said that the cover looks ‘nothing like her’ and that it is heavily altered.

The cover was shot by acclaimed photographer, Steven Klein and features a heavily bronzed Gigi Hadid and model Justin Martin. Gigi donned a sequined one shoulder dress and pant combination from Dolce and Gabbana. She styled the outfit with heavy dangler earrings and a crown. Gigi looks darker than her skin tone and this leaves us wondering if it is hinting at something. If we put all the cards down on the table, Gigi wears a crown, her makeup is darker than her usual skin tone and she features on the May issue; all of this somewhere points towards Meghan Markle. This is because Meghan is all set to be a royal (the crown), her wedding is in May (Gigi’s look features on the May issue) and Gigi is darker than her skin tone (Similar to that of Meghan Markle). So does all of this mean that this is in a way a tribute to the would be future princess and Prince Harry’s better half? Well all of this hints do point towards that.

The supermodel has already featured on 27 Vogue covers and was also named the International Model of the Year by the British Fashion Council. Rumours are currently rife that Giga Hadid and Zayn Malik have gotten back together after their brief split. A source revealed, "Zayn really wants to be with [Gigi] and has made it clear. He misses her and can't stand being apart. Gigi's a little bit more hesitant." According to the source, the couple broke up because it was not working out for them with the external factor of their high-end careers.

"They are both so busy with their careers and travelling the world. It makes it very difficult to be in a relationship," the source added. While Gigi still is very much in love with the Pillowtalk singer, she is not sure if their relationship is what she wants right now.

Earlier, both Zayn and Gigi had issued statements regarding their amicable split.

Zayn wrote, "Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all."

Gigi wrote, "Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years ... not only in the relationship but in life in general. I'm forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be. xG."
