Gigi Hadid opts for a mix between pants and a skirt at the CFDA fashion awards and her fans are confused
Hadid sported a pretty powder blue outfit at the pink carpet by Louis Vuitton. Though she looked pretty, fans were confused by her pant-skirt combination outfit.
After the MET Gala, Gigi Hadid is still making waves across the fashion world. The supermodel strutted the pink carpet of the CFDA awards. Her ensemble was very unlike what she usually sports. This ensemble was oversized and quite overpowering as well though the powder blue colour was flattering.
Her oversized long blazer was paired with a pleated skirt-trouser combination bottom by Louis Vuitton. Designer of the brand Virgil Abloh who is known for his deconstructed designs and pushes all the boundaries of fashion, accompanied Hadid on the carpet. A mix between a sash and crossbody bag that matched her outfit, was Hadid's accessory of choice for the event. White Yeezy silettos and jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz completed her red car pet look for the event.
The rest of her look was also toned down. Her hair was left loose and styled into loose waves while glittery eyeshadow, filled-in brows, loads of mascara and a nude lipstick made for the perfect muted makeup that went perfectly with her look. Her stylist Mimi received a lot of flak for the way she styled Gigi's look for the award show. Fans left comments like "Do you hate her? Because honey..." and "This is so not a cool look," while others were left flabbergasted at this spectacular look and left comments like "This outfit has me shook! The future of fashion looking so cool".
