Fashion Faceoff: Deepika Padukone or Taylor Swift, who wore the Ashish rainbow sequined shirt better?

Vogue’s ‘happy issue’ is out this month and it features none other than the reigning Queen of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone! The February edition of the coveted magazine instantly became a hit, as soon as it was dropped on the stands. The highlight of the cover was the dimpled beauty’s heartfelt smile, her easy-going appeal and that oh-so-desirable Ashish rainbow sequined shirt.

The gorgeous lady who has been applauded for her performance in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial paired her multi-coloured sequin shirt with a pair of red hot-short. Let down open hair with prominent waves, soft undertone makeup, deep red lipstick and that smile full of gratitude and happiness finished off her ‘because I am happy’.

However, after digging in a little deeper we realised that we had already spotted this shirt on someone and it was none other than a global star, Taylor Swift. The love story singer had donned full sleeves, short, horizontal striped bodycon rainbow sequin dress and threw in a vertical striped oversized rainbow sequin shirt, both from Ashish. The actress posted an image of hers on Instagram to announce the launch of sixth studio album, ‘Reputation’.

The ‘inspiration’ of the outfit doesn't end there, Holly Willoughby had worn the same rainbow Ashish dress when she made an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show. The dress went on to become a rage and was sold within hours after her appearance on the show.
