Fashion Faceoff: Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra; who wore the sweater-pleated skirt combination better?

It just feels like with every passing day fashion faceoff’s are only increasing in number. With fashion trends becoming every celebrity’s latest obsession, major outfit run-ins are getting super common. Plagiarism within the garment industry is another reason why our favourite stars end up wearing similar ensembles if not the same. With actors moving with an extended entourage and stylists usually taking calls, we often see them taking “inspiration” from other contemporary stylists.

This time around the fashion faceoff is between the newly married brides, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Yesterday, we saw Padukone stepped out in the city to shoot for a show. The actress was spotted wearing a high neck red sweater and bell sleeves. Deepika went all red as she teamed her sweater with a red midi pleated skirt, both from H&M. She styled her outfit with all things red with a pair of red Louboutins, red lips, pulled back ponytail and golden studs.

As soon as we saw Deepika Padukone’s look we were instantly reminded of PeeCee. A couple of months back, Priyanka Chopra attended an event where she was seen wearing something quite similar. Mrs. Jonas opted for a turtleneck silver metallic full sleeves top which she paired with a silver pleated midi skirt. She styled her outfit with silver strappy heels, a pulled back hair knot, filled in brows and a dark red lip.

While both of them looked pretty, it was Priyanka for us who won our hearts with her minimal yet statement-making look. It is clean, simple and extremely clean.
