Fashion Faceoff: Deepika Padukone or Kangana Ranaut; who wore the Sabyasachi creation better?

Fashion faceoffs have become super common in today’s World. Offlate the run-ins have become pretty often as designers have been getting ‘inspired’ by one another, a tad bit too much. However, this time around it's about the same designer staying true to his own style. Sabyasachi is definitely the man of the hour with almost all the leading A-list actresses sporting his design. Deepika Padukone’s high voltage wedding to leading Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is the talk of the town but apart from that, her outfits too have been grabbing eyeballs.

Recently, Ranveer Singh’s sister, Ritika Bhavnani threw a party for the newlyweds. The stunning bride looked stunning as always in a Sabyasachi ensemble giving us a major fashion faceoff. Deepika wore a beautiful multi-coloured floral ensemble and her ook included a plunging V-neckline choli teamed with a high waisted lehenga with an attach Sabyasachi belt and a sheer net dupatta. She styled her outfit with a jadau neckpiece, traditional bangles, a braided Greek style bun and floral decoration in the hair. This is look is definitely out of Deepika’s comfort zone and she pulled it off with utmost grace and signature poise.

While we were obsessing over Padukone’s look as we traced our memory a bit, we realised that we had seen a similar print on Kangana a while back. Ranaut donned a floral frock in the exact same print as that of Deepika’s also from Sabyasachi. Her midi dress featured sleeveless sleeves, a deep U-neck and a fit and flare dress silhouette. She stuck to minimal styling with her open natural curly hair, stud earrings and a black wristwatch.

While both of them looked pretty in their individual attire, it was Deepika Padukone’s Frida Kahlo like hairdo that convinced us that she slayed the look better.
