Fashion Faceoffs have become extremely common these days. With the world becoming a smaller place with every passing day, pointing out the common fashion trends have become extremely easy. With fashion becoming global, we often see a lot of run-ins where our stars end up wearing the same outfit. One such case is of this high-profile fashion faceoff that we came across. The faceoff is between our very own Padmavati Deepika and global icon Beyonce.
This year marked the second outing at Cannes for Deepika Padukone. The beauty stepped out of her comfort style and served us a dramatic look in a pink Ashi Studio gown. The outfit featured heavy ruffles, avant-garde sleeves and an exaggerated matching long train from the brand’s latest collection. She styled it with heavy smokey eyes, a sleek top knot, nude lip and small drop earrings. She truly looked like an angel.
Recently, Beyonce was at the Global Citizen event in South Africa and the pop star donned the exact same outfit as that of Deepika’s. Beyonce styled the hot pink high-low outfit with open hair, silver studded hoops, silver heels and a glossy lip.
Both the stunners definitely did look breath-taking but for us, it was Deepika who walked away with the cake. We love the way the 32-year-old has styled the Ashi Studio outfit. It is clean, elegant and leaves a lasting impression.
