Emmys 2019: Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams slay the purple carpet in true Stark style
The big night is here as it is the 71st Primetime Emmys Awards Night
The award season has officially kicked in and it is time for one of the most awaited award shows, The 71st annual Emmy Awards. The coveted show has been held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles and the red carpet is already buzzing with the celebrities. Standing tall in all its glory with 32 nominations was none other than our favourite television show, Game of Thrones. Needless to say the red carpet seems like a happy reunion for the GOT cast and their loyal fans.
Our very own Winterfell girls, Sansa Stark aka Sophie Turner and Arya Stark aka Maisie Williams walked the red carpet and boy they looked so stunning. Starting off with Sophie, the newly married star walked in minus her beau. She looked absolutely gorgeous in a champagne hued creation. He outfit featured a deep V-neckline with a corset like bustier which was attached to a drape skirt with a front slit from Louis Vuitton. She styled her look adding an old world Hollywood charm with a diamond choker, a pulled back half up-half down ponytail, light hued smokey eyes, a nude lip and silver strappy heels. We love the look from head to toe.
Following on we have Sophie’s on-screen baby sister and real life best friend, Maisie Williams who made a pretty splash at the red carpet. The actress was dressed in a black asymmetrical dress by JW Anderson. Her outfit bored a deep V neckline with half the outfit encrusted with scattered sequins and the other part was solid black. She styled her look with her signature bangs and black pointy toe stilettos with a chunky brooch. Filled in brows and a dark deep lip completed her look.
While we love both the Stark sisters, we think we prefer Sophie’s underplayed and poised look over Arya’s. Also, brownie points for the choice of colour and the whole styling. Who’s look do you prefer more? Sophie Turner or Maisie Williams? Comment below and let us know.
