The glitz and glamour at Sunday night’s 71st Primetime Emmy Awards is still being spoken about. Be it the magnificent purple carpet appearances, the great list of winners or the highlight of the evening being all things Game of Thrones, it was an awards night like no other. Emilia Clarke aka Queen Daenerys was one of the best dressed stars of the evening.
The Game of Thrones star in a media interaction before the show shared how her inspiration was none other than Jennifer Lopez. Emilia said, “I think that J.Lo in Hustlers is the greatest introduction of a character I have ever seen. I heckled in the cinema. I'm English, I don't do that, but I did! So J.Lo is my inspiration for this evening. I plan on channeling her all night long." Clarke donned a navy blue Maison Valentino outfit with a plunging deep neckline with a know cinching her waist. Center parted sleek hairdo with filled in brows, pink nude lip and stone studded danglers completed her stunning look.

The Latino popstar reacted beautifully to Emilia’s tribute by posting the clip on her Instagram account. The 50 year old singer captioned her post with, “When the Mother of Dragons meets #Ramona. #dead #HustlersMovie I love u @emilia_clarke #daenerys," Lopez wrote alongside the clip.” Isn’t that absolutely adorable? Khaleesi just before hitting the red carpet had given a big shout out to the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer. She captioned her post, “@emmys2019 WE BE ROLLLLLIN! @jlo just a heads up you have inspired this years lewk.”
