Emmy 2019: Sophie Turner wore a first of its kind jewelry for THIS fashion house
Sophie Turner was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category at the 71st Primetime Emmys Award 2019
Last night we saw the magnificent and star-studded affair at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards 2019. The event was held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Almost all the celebrated names from the television industry made their presence felt at the purple carpet nut there was one team which literally shown really bright. Game of Thrones which ended this May, bid a teary eyed goodbye as it also picked up the maximum number of Emmys.
One of the key and main characters from the show, Sophie Turner also marked her presence. She looked absolutely divine in a champagne hued Louis Vuitton number which made heads turn as she glided down the red carpet. She was undoubtedly one of the best dressed actresses on the carpet last night. However, there was also another striking special element in her attire. The newly married actress debuted a new piece of necklace from the luxury fashion house’s jewelry collection. Turner is the first celebrity to have worn a piece from that coveted line.
The precious jewelry is made with white gold, 305 baguette cut diamonds and about 640 diamonds. It took about one thousand one hundred and seventy-five hours for the work to be completed. The piece is named, “L’Armure”. Not just that Sophie also wore a diamond ring complementing the necklace from the same line.
For the purple carpet, Sophie donned a strappy pink champagne hued satin dress with laser cut perforation on the bustier. For her styling she took a cue from the old Hollywood decades and stuck to a sleek and clean half up half down hairdo. Brown smokey eyes, filled in brushed brows and soft pink nude lips completed her absolutely gorgeous look.
Sophie Turner was also nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category. Peter Dinklage who played Tyrion Lannister on the hit fantasy drama show bagged his 4th Emmys for his role in the Supporting Actor category.
