Post the storm Dolce & Gabbana caused in the last few days, the luxury Italian brand finally released an apology video via Weibo - a Chinese micro-blogging site and one of the most popular social media platforms in the country.

In their apology video, the duo look glum and speak about how they have given a second thought to everything that has happened and apologise for what happened. They go on to talk about how their families have always taught them to respect cultures of the world.

They also speak about how they have always been in love with China and how they admire its culture. The duo further add that they have learnt from their mistakes and ensure that this will never happen again. The designer-duo end the video, by apologising again "if" they have made any mistakes and claim to do better in the future.

The brand was called out by popular Instagram page @dietprada for being racist towards China and its culture. The designer - Steffano Gabbana made a reference to the Chinese calling them "Ignorant dirty smelling mafia", and since then, the Chinese and luxury brand's loyalists have blacklisted the brand. D&G products have also been taken off Chinese e-commerce sites. In a previous response to Gabbana's statement, the brand denied that it was the designer responing. Instead, they claimed that Gabbaba's Instagram account had been hacked.
