Diwali 2017: Pinkvilla Fashion Report - Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Akshay-Twinkle Khanna, best-dressed couples this Diwali

Diwali gives the chance to our favourite Bollywood celebrities to step out in the most festive and fashionable looks and gives us the chance to soak in fashion inspiration. Recently Ekta Kapoor held a Diwali basha and it was attended by nearly every marquee name in the city. 

Here is a look at the most stylish couple from the night: 

1. Sanjay and Maanayata Dutt

Maanayata and Sanjay Dutt were coordinated in black as they were seen wearing a raw silk saree with gold accents. Sanjay Dutt, on the other hand, was seen wearing a simple black pathani style kurta with Patiala salwar. They both looked great coordinated together. 

2. Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani

Also seen in an all black look were parents to be Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani. Esha Deol was dressed in a black floor-length Anarkali which she paired with a net dupatta that had golden borders. Bharat matched his beautiful wife with his achkan and jodhpuris

3. Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover 

The "Monkey love" duo made for a handsome couple at this Diwali Bash. Bipasha looked like a vision in her floor-length Anarkali and Karan wore a draped kurta with a blue silk Nehru jacket that matched his wifey, Bipasha Basu. 

4. Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra 

Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra kept the paparazzi on their tippy toes as they entered the party together. Siddarth Malhotra looked handsome in an orange kurta along with white silk Patiala salwar. Alia Bhatt donned a festive avatar in a pistachio green silk kurta that she paired with a matching dupatta and a darker shade lehenga (all) by Raw Mango. Hair half tied up, a pair of dangling earrings and a potli bag rounded her look out.

5. Sridevi and Boney Kapoor 

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were at the event as well. Boney Kapoor was dressed in a blue kurta with that he wore with a pair of silver pants. Sridevi was seen wearing a Manish Malhotra brocade Anarkali, Sridevi looked pretty as she posed for the cameras. Her gold patterned Anarkali was teamed with a black dupatta, a red potli bag and stud earrings. She matched the look with a velvet potli bag. 

6. Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya

Television’s cutest couple, Vivek and Divyanka of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein were in attendance at the event as well. Divyanka was seen wearing an emerald green gown with an embroidered bustier and sheer on the neckline along with cape style sleeves. Vivek, on the other hand, was seen wearing a draped kurta with dhoti pants. While Vivek did well, Divyaka's look left us unimpressed. 

7. Ileana D'cruz and Andrew Kneebone

Ileana D'cruz attended the Diwali bash with her "videshi" boyfriend Andrew Kneebone. While Ileana wore marsala coloured floor length Anarkali that had a drape in front. Her boyfriend, on the other hand, wore a black kurta with a Nehru jacket and small pocket square. 

8. Twinkle and Akshay Kumar

Our favourite feminist and India's most adored action hero, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar, were at the party as well. Twinkle Khanna wore a floor-length, gold silk Anarkali that had hints of pink.  We love how she added a pop of colour with green earrings. Akshay, on the other hand, was seen wearing a high neck black kurta.
