A huge controversy has taken the glamour and entertainment industry by storm. Designer Stefano Gabbana bullied Selena Gomez on social media and celebrities have now come in full support of the singer/actress. Recently, on June 12, the famous Dolce & Gabbana designer commented on an Instagram post about Selena, he wrote, “è proprio brutta!!!” which means “she is so ugly” in Italian.

Ever since this controversy broke out, celebrities are all coming out in support of Selena. Miley Cyrus who herself has had issues with the fashion house in the past, openly expressed her view. She took to Instagram and wrote, “What that dck head said (if it’s true) is f**king false and total bull sht.” Only last year Miley had openly accepted and posted that she did not agree with D&G’s brand politics to which Gabbana responded back, saying, “We are Italian and we don't care about politics and mostly neither about the American one! We make dresses and if you think about doing politics with a post it's simply ignorant."

Selena Gomez is yet to comment on the whole controversy, however, Stefano doesn’t seem to be in a mood to apologise. According to a leading website, the designer has been taking screenshots of his comment and has been posting it across with a caption, “MY NAME IS SELENA!!! #saysorrytome. Cyber bullying is a major crime and it is extremely disappointing to see a man with so much of power misusing it and is also not ready to acknowledge or apologise for his wrong behaviour.

The luxurious fashion house is famous for landing in trouble over and over again. Back in 2015, Domenico Dolce told Panorama Magazine that he opposes gay adoption. He said, “We oppose gay adoptions. The only family is the traditional one … No chemical offsprings and rented uterus; Life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed”. Stefano Gabbana in 2017 also faced a lot of fire after he posted a super zoomed image of Lady Gaga’s stomach during the Super Bowl criticizing her looks; he later apologised for the same.
