Deepika Padukone serves as inspiration to the newlywed Mitali Borude
Amit Thackeray's wife picked out the same Sabyasachi outfit, as Deepika Padukone, did for her wedding reception.
We often look to Bollywood celebrities for inspiration when it comes to playing dress up. At the most recent grand wedding - Amit Thackeray to Mitali Bordue, the duo looked happy and in love. For their star-studded reception, Mitali looked stunning and sported a floral Sabyasachi lehenga. When it comes to weddings, Sabyasachi seems like the most clear and obvious choice. The newlywed seemed to have taken inspiration from none other than Deepika Padukone, who also sported the same outfit for the wedding party that Ranveer Singh's sister threw for the couple, in Mumbai.
Despite wearing the same outfit by the designer, the two managed to pull off completely different looks for their individual occasions. For her reception with Ranveer Singh, Deepika channeled her inner Freida Kalho. She styled her hair up in a braided bun and even put on roses, that were similar to Kalho's. For her makeup, she opted for a gothic touch with smokey eyes and a peachy-nude lip. She wore the net dupatta as a trail and paired it with a heavy choker necklace and choodas.
Mitali, on the other hand, opted for a look that was poles apart from that of Deepika's. Her hair was let down in cascading curls. When it came to accessories, the gorgeous bride picked out glass gold bangles and a dazzling diamond necklace and matching earrings, for her reception. Her make up too, was kept simple and natural showing off her dewy glow.
Despite being so drastically different, we loved both the looks.
