It’s been a hot minute since the summers have arrived. With the torturing heat and rising temperatures, summers also bring along bikini season, popsicles and travel goals. Nothing beats a flowy summer look with pops of colour and airy silhouettes. However, this year a lot of Bollywood divas opted for a monochromatic look instead of pops of colour.

The colour that dominated most of their monochromatic looks was summer yellow. The bright hue came in like sunshine and stole the show this summer. From Cannes to press conferences, Bollywood divas have been seen wearing the colour on different occasions.

Deepika Padukone wears the colour in the form of a saree by Sabyasachi. The solid coloured saree is paired with a high neck bow blouse accompanied with long dangle earrings.

Kareena proves to be the queen of fashion with just the right amount of experimentation. The actress styles her yellow gown with a rope braid and gold accessories.

Katrina dominates the colour with a stunning saree by Nikasha. She keeps the look simple and airy with minimal makeup and accessories.

Sonam Kapoor looks like a summer princess in a custom-made dress by Ashi Studio. The dress features ruffled neckline and sleeves that frame her bareback. A hint of red on the lips complete the monochromatic look.

Diana Penty glams up in a dressy avatar. The bodycon dress features bright yellow feathers that can easily steal the show.

Katrina keeps it casual this time, as she opts for a printed day dress by Altuzarra. The yellow dress bore minimal print patterns making it perfect for summers.

Deepika Padukone clearly loves switching up things every now and then. At the Met Gala after-party, Deepika wore a yellow mermaid cut gown by Zac Posen. In true Ranveer sense, she styled the look with a heavily printed jacket.
