Deepika Padukone has been failing to impress us with her recent fashion choices; here’s why

The Cannes fever is on and everyone's highly anticipating what our favourite stars would be wearing. With Cannes being a heavy buzzing affair one expects out-of-box and never seen before looks. However, our beloved Shantipriya has been lyin glow with her fashion game and is playingn ay too safe with her red carpet looks. The diva who is a fashion icon to many has been repeatedly carrying out the same hair and makeup styles and similar sihoeuttes of outfits. Listed below is a breakdown of the recent times when Deepika high let us down. 

Deepika Padukone started off her Day 2 with a repetitive and boring look. We honestly expected better and more experimental looks from the beauty. Deepika donned a white V-neck ganji from ATM Collection which she teamed up with a pair of high waisted flared denim jeans with frayed hem details. A pair of black and white pointy toe stilettos with centre parted straight hair, mauve lips and sunglasses finished off her rather dull look. Her look was almost similar to the one she donned yesterday. She had aso recycled her old Sandro dress for her post MET Gala party. If you run back your memory a bit, Ms. Padukone had worn the same pair of flared jeans by Frame a week back at the airport when she was flying from Mumbai to New York to attend the MET Gala. Deepika, had styled her pair of jeans in the same fashion. She wore a black ganji and teamed it with her FRAME jeans and threw over a black oversized long coat. Silver hoops, brushed down open hair and minimal makeup finished off her look.

We are highly let down with Deepika just not experimenting with her looks. Her MET Gala was yet another let down with the Ram Leela actress missing the memo twice in a row. In the recent times the actress has been playing very safe with her looks. Her sleek hair and dark lips are another thing that we are tired with. Although we must give it to Deepika for pulling off each and every look effortlessly but it’s time that she starts experimenting.

While we absolutely love the fact that our beauty has no qualms whatsoever in repeating her outfits; Cannes is a huge platform where the International media takes notice of everything you do and present yourself.
