Deepika Padukone attended Dior’s show at the Paris Fashion Week but her look has left us confused

Our Bollywood celebrities collaborating with International luxurious fashion houses always manages to breathe in fresh air with impeccable and unexplored styles. In the past decade we’ve seen the gap being bridged between fashion back home and Internationally. Deepika Padukone is one of the actresses who definitely leads the pack. Recently, the Om Shanti Om actress attended the Dior show at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week and her look took us down the memory road as it gave out major retro vibes. 

Padukone donned a strapless heavily floral printed dress in shades of brown, almost replicating the beautiful colours of a dense earthy forest. After this it was all about layering for this talented actress. She paired her outfit with a chocolate brown trench coat and knee high fishnet stockings boots. Deepika styled her look with a 60s inspired bouffant hairdo with a headband in the same print as her outfit. Cat eyed wing eyeliner, filled in brows, a no makeup makeup look, layered gold chains and the classic Dior monogram clutch completed her look. 

We have to admit that the 33 year old’s makeup and hair is all on point and we are heavily crushing on it. However, her outfit with the accessories and shoes looks a bit over the top. While we get the idea of balancing the elements out, we think that she could have make do without those pair of fishnet boots and trench coat. In a time and age when everything is becoming more and more minimalistic, this look looks a little too overcrowded. The stunner is known for her ‘less is more’ style, hence, this seems like a little too overdone.
