They started off as co-stars in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Goliyon ki Ras Leela - Ram Leela and eventually fell in love. The couple has been setting some major love goals for the entire nation. DeepVeer tied the knot earlier today in a traditional Konkani wedding.
The glowing bride - Deepika Padukone was a traditional Konkani bride for the first day of her wedding The nuptials were carried in her native traditions and customs. The 'Chennai Express' actress adorned a traditional off-white and gold silk saree draped in the traditional way. Padukone paired her six yards with a gold jadau jewellery, traditional coin necklaces and a matha-patti in true Sabyasachi style. Her look was further enhanced with a kamarpatta, toe rings, matha-patti and payal or anklets.
Padukone stuck to her signature low bun that we have seen multiple times on her. The bun was decorated with a gajra made up of fresh flowers. She donned gold and green glass bangles in her henna clad hand that go perfectly with the wedding customs. For the makeup, the glowing bride opted for a winged eyeliner, bold lip and defined brows. Her look was complete with a nose pin and a red bindi.
