Trust Chanel to always feel the quintessence of every woman. The pioneer of women’s fashion globally had once said how fragrance is the ultimate accessory which is unseen and unforgettable. One that defines elegance, sophistication and panache and that my dear friend, is an extremely daunting task - to find the perfect signature scent.

While Bollywood sure loves to get “inspired” by one another more often than usual, it’s interesting (read: juicy) when they inevitably end up liking the same thing. It is rightly said that perfumes indeed are an extension of one’s personality. It literally becomes your recall identity and one that folks always remember you with. Ex-rivals and current contemporaries Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone who have a fair share of history of their own, apparently love the same scent.

Yes, Padukone and Kaif, swear by the same perfume and are both in love with For Her by Narcisco Rodriguez. The perfume oozes out femininity with hints and layers of richness which creates a balance of power and charm. Katrina Kaif in an interview with Vogue back in 2015 had said, “My childhood scent memories are of visits to the beach… the sun, sand and salty breeze, which is probably why my favourite holiday destinations are all tropical. However, I am attracted to floral scents with a hint of musk.” Rightly so, For Her is a soft scent which is made up of rose and gardenia and is burnished with musk and crystalline amber, let’s also not forget is super long lasting.
