Celebrating 3 years of Tamasha, we revisit Deepika's BEST LOOKS from the film!

On this day, three year's ago, Imtiaz Ali's coming-of-age film Tamasha, starring one of the best on-screen couples Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone was released. Though the film didn't do well at the box office, the music and the chemistry between the couple stole our hearts! Not to forget, Deepika's amazing outfits had become a rage among the youth in the country. 

Post the film, lipstick print shirts, strap patterned sports bras, fringed sling bags and beautiful printed formal wear and solid coloured jackets and blazers made it big. Here are some of the best looks from the film that still look uber trendy!

White boho dress

This lacy white dress stole our hearts! Despite the dress being so pretty, Deepika gave it a casual look by pairing it with trendy white sneakers and a red fringe sling bag. The floral tiara on her head made her look like a perfect boho princess. This is one look we can't wait to steal and try out on our next holiday. 

Striped spaghetti

The perfect outfit for summers and lounge wear, this basic striped spaghetti top looked adorable on Deepika. She paired it with white slacks for a edge of comfort. With her hair pulled back into a messy bun, Deepika aced this basic look. 

Striped tee

Stripes seemed to be Deepika's go-to look in the film. She paired this simple white striped tee with a pair of trendy gold aviators and blue denim shorts. A perfect look for a vacation by the beach, we think!

Blue dress and lipstick printed shirt

One of the most fashionable looks of the year, this dress and shirt stole hearts all over the country. The simple blue dress paired well with a tan belt looked amazing with a the contrasting white shirt. Her classic pink keds, messy hair and a basic gold necklace completed this look perfectly. 

Black maxi sweater dress

We love how Deepika's fashion transformed smoothly from summer vacation wear to winter wear. This classic black sweater dress is a timeless piece that can be paired with pants, dresses and even used as a shrug when the weather turns cool. 

Blazer and pinstripe formal pants

Deepika pairs comfort-wear and formal wear exceptionally well in this film, and this outfit is a classic example of it. She paired a white formal shirt under a black blazer and paired it with a beautiful pinstripe formal pant. Instead of sporting high heels, she wears casual sneakers with this work outfit! 

Mustard jacket

The dull yellow mustard jacket over a black floral printed dress, was a chic yet casual look that Deepika carried off in the film. A perfect look for those breezy days just before winter sets in!

The white sports bra that Deepika wore beneath her white backless dress, caused waves around the country. While we have spent so much opting for transparent straps and backless bras so it doesn't show under the dress, Deepika's fashion-forward look was stunning - so much that these bras were so in demand that they became available even on the street!
