Cannes 2019: Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a lavender Fendi dress: Yay or Nay?

For years now, Priyanka Chopra has always been on top of her fashion game. From Oscars red carpet to the Golden Globes followed by the MET Gala, the 36-year-old actress has surely picked up a few fashion tricks in her decade long career.

The newly wed Mrs Jonas surely created a stir on the MET Gala red carpet with her perfectly thematic ‘campy’ outfit by Dior. Impeccably styled, Priyanka was one of the best dressed celebrity amongst the who’s who of the Hollywood industry.

Just yesterday, Chopra looked like a new age princess in a light teal dress by Maison Alaia. Keeping it chic and casual for a summery day out, Chopra styled her look with a white corset belt and a matching fedora.

After setting the bar too high, we do not usually expect a cold look from Chopra. The actress was spotted at the Chopard party at Cannes in a lavender dress by Fendi. The monochromatic look was inspired by mermaid scales which were added throughout the skirt of her dress. The sheer skirt was accompanied by a turtle neck sequined blouse.

An element of a mesh button down jacket completed her outfit. She styled her look with a centre parted bun and diamond earrings. Well, all in all the look felt more of a let down compared to her impeccable sense of style. And with Nick Jonas in her arms dressed in a dapper black tux, Priyanka seemed a little off beat for the event.
