Cannes 2019: Huma Qureshi makes a power statement with two stunning looks at Cannes: Yay or Nay?

It is that time of the year again and being the fashion enthusiasts that we are, we could not have been more thrilled. Cannes is one of the biggest fashion nights of the year with big wheels of the film fraternity making it to the red carpet. It is a night of elegance backed by some exquisite couture pieces and designer princess gowns.

The ‘invitation-only’ event marks as a milestone for a lot of critically acclaimed actors. Well, Huma Qureshi has been one of the many reputed actors to have walked the red carpet. Ms Qureshi first attended Cannes during while she was promoting her then hit film, Gangs of Wasseypur.

Her big debut at the French Riviera was surely a power move as she stepped on the red carpet in an embellished nude pantsuit.

She is back at it again and this time around she has proved that blazer jackets can be an absolute statement. Well, who doesn’t love a stunning power attire?

For her day out in Cannes, Huma sported a sequined black blazer dress by Balmain. She paired her look with gold pointy pumps and styled her hair in an elegant low bun. I mean, who doesn’t love to step out of the house without wearing any pants?

With that stunning look, Qureshi made another statement and showed us a truly different way to style a blazer. This time around, Huma opted for a classic red coloured jacket that was accompanied by a long tulle skirt. The strong-shouldered jacket was a perfect power statement mixed with the right amount of femininity.

Letting her outfit do all the talking, Huma styled her hair in a centre parted sleek hairstyle. She completed her look with long diamond earrings adding the right amount of glam to the look.
