Cannes 2019: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Leal Daccarett and Falguni & Shane Peacock: Yay or Nay?

We can very well label Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as India’s Queen of Cannes. She has been representing India at the International Film Festival for more than a decade now and shining bright when there. Over the years, her style has evolved. Some of her looks have been critiqued while some have been praised by both fans and critics alike. This time around too, Ash has served some epic looks both on the red carpet and off.

To kick off interviews at the French Riviera, she opted for summery chic casual outfits that we can’t wait to add to our closets and try out! Her first pick was a pretty floor-length dress by Leal Daccarett. She red and white strapless striped dress ensured that the Bachchan bahu looked like she was on a holiday but also meant business. She paired her gorgeous ootd with mirror sunglasses. Her makeup was simple – deep red lips that matched her outfit and voluminous curls made us crush hard on this look.

Her second look, was a customised outfit by Indian designer-duo Falguni and Shane Peacock. She showed us how to pair denim on denim, with a twist! Acid washed denim jeans over a white tank top ensured she looked super casual. A denim overcoat which matched her jeans and had silver embellishments all over, showed us how to get rid of our Monday blues! We love how her stylist Aastha Sharma picked out red shoes to give the outfit some colourful contrast and match Ash’s deep red lips!
